There is so much to discover here in Normandy. From interesting towns and cities, to beaches, markets and cycling and walking trails. Below are just a few places of interest but there are plenty of good tourism websites to research much more.
CANCALE
If you are partial to oysters or you would like to try them for the first time then this is the place to visit. The sea shore is a myriad of oyster beds and you can purchase and eat freshly picked oysters from the market stalls by the sea front. There are also a selection of seafood restaurants should you be ready for lunch and want to enjoy a meal paired with a glass of wine.
ST MALO
Not just a ferry port!! There is much to see and do in and around St Malo, not to mention the gorgeous sandy beach to the north of the city on the Emerald Coast. Inside the walls are cobbled streets lined with medieval buildings and shops aplenty if you are looking for a mooch around. You will be spoilt for choice with the number of restaurants and cafes at lunchtime.
VILLEDIEU-LES-POÊLES
Home to various museums, most notably the Bell Foundry and the Copper Workshop.
